Our Communications Centre (ComCen) in Christchurch primarily looks after the entire South Island, but does cover the whole country.

There are several reasons you may want to contact the ComCen; You're having a burnoff, a trial evacuation at your workplace / home or school, advising us of thermal fogging, smoke testing, fog canon testing, fumigations or even if you're using a smoke machine for the school disco!

If someone calls 111 on your event, the ComCen will have a record of what's happening and they won't send us out unneccessarily.
